With this recent period of staying home, I’ve taken a lot of time to decide what direction I want this blog to go in. If you’ve been following for a while, you’ll notice that the layout has changed and, along with it, my content has shifted from DIYs and home decor to more fashion and beauty-based content. Since my wardrobe refresh, I’ve started to realize that the way I purchase clothes wasn’t fulfilling for me.
I tend to follow a lot of slow fashion bloggers and instagrammers, and often wondered if it would be a good option for me. With all the time I’ve had at home with the items in my closet, I’ve started to think with more intention when I shop. I’ve cut out most of the stores I used to shop from, and have been creating an ongoing list of what I envision my dream closet to look like. I’ve actually found that the items I’ve added back into my closet make me excited with this new method. Because I only purchase things that I’m absolutely in love with, getting dressed in the morning has become easier and more fun.
In addition to this, I am enjoying a higher quality of clothing because I’ve become much more intentional in the quality and designs of my clothes. So, you may be asking, what exactly is this blog going to be moving forward?
With Love, Arielle is going to be focusing on my travels and my journey in slow, more intentional fashion and beauty. Going from buying new things every week, to every month and possibly even to every season will be a challenge because it’s something I’ve done since I was a teenager, but the intention in this space is to share my outfits and what I truly love to wear in addition to the wonderful places I love to go.
My newest series the Style Guide launched on my blog this month and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the shift to perfecting my personal style and sharing helpful tips with you all as well! If you haven’t had the opportunity to check it out, I’ll link my Style Guide series here.
